Privacy Policy

• Account & organization data — name, email, and organization membership, via our authentication provider (Clerk).
• Billing data— subscription plan and billing status. Payment details themselves are handled by Clerk/Stripe; we don't store card numbers.
• Proposal content — the transcripts or notes you paste in, and the structured proposal generated from them (scope, pricing tiers, plan, assumptions). This may include information about your own clients, since it comes from your discovery calls with them.

• Transcript content is sent to OpenAI's API to generate the structured proposal. We do not use OpenAI's consumer ChatGPT product — under OpenAI's API terms, data submitted through the API is not used to train their models.
• Generated proposals are stored so you can view, edit, and share them later, and so usage counts against your plan's quota.
• We don't sell your data or your clients' data.

We rely on a small number of subprocessors to run the product:

• Clerk — authentication, organizations, and billing.
• OpenAI — generating proposal content from transcripts.
• Supabase (Postgres) — storing account and proposal data.
• Vercel — hosting the application.

If you generate a shareable link for a proposal, anyone with that link can view the proposal (not your account or other proposals). You can revoke a link at any time, which immediately disables it.

We retain your account and proposal data for as long as your account is active. To request deletion of your account and associated data, contact us at hello@scopens.com.

We use cookies required for authentication (via Clerk) to keep you signed in. We don't currently use analytics or advertising cookies.

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and, where appropriate, notify active accounts.
